Born in Sheffield to Sri Lankan Tamil parents, 43 year old Indu Rubasingham is the director of the Tricycle Theatre in London. After the theatres decision not to host the UK Jewish Film Festival as it was part funded by the Israeli government, Indu has been facing a barrage of condemnation.
