On the 4th November, Five British Tamils of Eelam heritage, embarked on a challenge to run from the London Eye to the Eiffel Tower in under 48 hours to raise £10,000 for charities serving the Tamil community in the motherland.

Vikaash Rasalingam, Mathujan Jeyapalan, Anesh Kajenthiran, Vinushan Jeyakumar, Sivakaran Aynkaramoorthy ran a combined distance of 600km, each covering 120km in an ultra marathon relay race which has raised £35,000 for good causes in Batticaloa, Trincomalee & Jaffna.
We caught up with Mathu, the mastermind behind the challenge, to find out more about the run that has galvanised and inspired many in the Eelam Tamil diaspora.
