British Tamil creator Vithya Visvendra raises £10,000 for charity through her London masterclass.
British Tamil hair and makeup artist and creator Vithya Visvendra has raised an incredible £10,000 for charity, with the funds set to support Serendip Children’s Home in Sri Lanka.
The money was raised through ticket sales from her 27th Hair & Makeup Masterclass, alongside generous donations from her global community.

The masterclass took place on Friday 6th March at Crystal Banqueting Hall in Hayes, West London, bringing together aspiring artists, supporters and members of the British Tamil community.
The evening also marked a special milestone. Vithya cut a cake to celebrate 10 years since hosting her very first masterclass.
In just a decade, she has gone on to host 27 sold-out masterclasses across the world from London and Paris to Sydney, Chennai and Kuala Lumpur.
Her donation will go towards supporting families affected by Cyclone Ditwah, which devastated parts of Sri Lanka in December 2025.
The funds will be distributed through Serendip Children’s Home, a UK-registered charity supporting communities across the North, East and Central regions of the island.
A powerful reminder of how the diaspora continues to show up for communities back home.
Congratulations to Vithya and everyone who helped make this possible.
