St Patrick’s College Jaffna host Global Reunion in London raising £120,000 for a new tech lab

St Patrick’s College Jaffna – Alumni Association UK hosted a wonderful week-long series of events, reuniting friends from across the globe and raising over £120,000 to benefit students in Jaffna.

St Patrick’s College is located in Jaffna, north of Sri Lanka. In July 2016 the UK Alumni hosted a global reunion in London which was attended by past pupils of S Patricks College now living across the UK, Europe, North America & Asia.

Thamarai were delighted to be the exclusive media partners for the Global Reunion.

Various events were organised including a weekend in the Isle of Wight, a boat party on the River Thames, a Gala dinner dance attended by the Bishop of Jaffna and finally ending the festivities with a family fun-day in the park.

Aswell as reuniting friends the UK Alumni during their trip to the Isle of Wight raised over £120,000 in 30 minutes for a new technology lab at St Patricks College.
