A Tamil Hindu wedding has been featured on British Vogue, a long running fashion publication.
Jana Nandakumar and his wife Gaya tied the knot last year in the UK, in a fairytale traditional wedding observing Tamil Sri Lankan customs, attended by five hundred friends and family from around the world.
Jana and Gaya, both from the UK, met each other on instagram, whilst studying abroad. Jana was studying dentistry in Spain, and Gaya was in Poland studying medicine.
Discover their journey, from the engagement to the ornate Hindu wedding, documented beautifully by Tamil wedding and lifestyle photographer Soozana, and writer Rebecca Cope.
This is not the first Tamil wedding to be featured on Vogue. A few months earlier the publication featured Cynthia Shanmugalingam, the British Tamil chef and Rambutan founder, who met the love of her life at 40 and tied the knot in Sri Lanka.
Both features are available to view on British Vogue online.
