Tamil trailer-tastic!

Tamil cinema fans are in for a treat.  We feature four of the latest trailers out of Kollywood!

Our first trailer is for Avan Ivan, an upcoming Tamil comedy film written and directed by Bala. The film stars Arya, Vishal Krishna, Janani Iyer, and Madhu Shalini in the lead roles. The film features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and will be dubbed in Telugu as Vaade Veedu. Currently in its post-production stage, slated for a theatrical release on May 20, 2011.

Saguni (trailer featured above) is an upcoming Tamil-language directed by Shankar Dayal and produced under Dream Warrior Pictures studio. The film features Karthi in the lead role alongside Shriya Saran. The film is expected to release by late 2011.

180 is an upcoming bilingual Indian film, directed by ad filmmaker Jayendra, making his first feature film. It is being shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu and stars known actors from both industries; Siddharth, Nithya Menen and Priya Anand play the lead roles. This film will see the return of Siddharth to Tamil cinema after seven years. Looks like he couldn’t have chosen a better comeback film! Slated for a summer 2011 release.

Finally we feature the latest Deiva Thirumagal trailer, a forthcoming 2011 Indian Tamil drama film directed by A. L. Vijay.The film features Vikram in the lead role as a mentally challenged adult with the maturity of a five-year-old boy, while Anushka Shetty, Amala Paul and Nassar portray other pivotal roles.
