Introducing…Hemz Kulachandran

Hemz Kulachandran is an upcoming artist from London, currently working as a producer for Harmonic Records, which he founded himself. Hemz is an accomplished pianist and is currently working with his Harmonic Records team for a number of projects.

“I thoroughly enjoy playing the piano,” says Hemz. “I have a great passion for music composition which I believe has inspired me to delve into music production.“

The talented musician recently released a cover of music compositions by the legendary AR Rahman, with vocals by Maj. The video features the songs “Enakkae Enakka” (Jeans), “Vennilave Vennilave” (Minsara Kanavu) and “Munbe Vaa” (Sillunu Oru Kadhal).

“I decided to make a cover of music by AR Rahman as he is someone who greatly inspired me when I was growing up,” says the producer about the video which has just under 15,000 views in less than a month.

It sounds like Hemz and Harmonic Records have a lot in store in the coming months! “There are numerous projects that myself and the team are working on, including collaborating with some well-known international artists,” reveals Hemz. “I am also working with younger, up-and-coming singers from my local area, some of whom are very talented.“
