Australian Tamil footballer Nishan Velupillay made his international debut for Australia’s National team in their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier.
The 23-year-old Melbourne player of Sri Lankan Tamil heritage kept Australia’s World Cup dream alive with his goal, beating China 3-1.
We look forward to seeing more of Nishan Vellupillay in the coming months, on Australia road to the World Cup.
