Check out the trailer for Aayiram Nilavu Unnidam Kanden, an independent Tamil film due to be released later this year. The film is produced by J. R. Mediaworks, a production house set up by Anukshan Jeyarajah in 2008. Their first project, a film called Marupiravi, was broadcast on Deepam TV, and had a cast of young people aged between 6 and 17.  ‘Aayiram Nilavu Unnidam Kanden’ (Tamil: à®?யிரம் நிலவு ௨ன்னிà®?ம் à®?ண்à®?à¯?ன்) rotates around the life of a young Tamil teenager called Vibi, brought up in a traditional eastern family within a western country. His encounter of a beautiful girl at a Birthday party, leads to a developing relationship that brings its ups and downs.  Love can be a beautiful gift, yet we all know it comes with great pain. How will Vibi deal with the obstacles that life has thrown at him? Whether it’s his family, his friendship…or his love, our hero knows that it’s not easy to overcome life’s hurdles.

TS-Prod, a talented group of singers from France have composed the music for the film. Aswell as a soundtrack the movie will also have promotional tracks – featuring popular Tamil artists from across Europe. The movie will have its premiere on 10th September 2011 in Thun, Switzerland.
