We never thought we’d be writing about Nicki Minaj and AR Rahman in the same sentence…but apparently that day is today, thanks to Arjun‘s latest release!
The UK-based singer-songwriter yesterday released the video for his "Chaiyya Chaiyya (Super Bass Remix)", which sees American musician Nicki Minaj’s track "Super Bass" and "Chaiyya Chaiyya" from Mani Ratnam’s 1998 Hindi film "Dil Se…" coming together.
The song is the latest in a series of remixes that Arjun has released, the first being the one that propelled him into the spotlight – his English RnB remix of the viral hit "Why This Kolaveri Di?". Following that he released a string of Bollywood remixes, including Chammak Challo and Teri Meri (ft. Priti Menon), both of which have clocked up over one milliion views on YouTube. His last remix was a Tamil track – "Thuli Thuli" – which Arjun remixed with Rihanna’s "Rude Boy".
The talented musician has been busy performing in the US recently, and today he is jetting off to Mumbai – talk about busy! He revealed that his first official mainstream single will be out next month, and we’re looking forward to hearing more about his upcoming projects!
