Chennai Super Kings beat Kolkata Knight Riders in a thrilling two-run victory at the opening of the Indian Premier League or IPL as it’s popularly known. The Twenty20 match was watched by millions across the globe and a packed 40,000 capacity stadium witnessed a very impressive opening ceremony.

Kick-starting the match was a glitzy opening ceremony with highlights including superstar and kolkata Knight Rider’s owner Shah Rukh Khan, dancing to some popular Kollywood and Tollywood hits with southern actress Shriya Saran.
