Tamil-Swiss artist Priya Ragu’s rise since signing with Warner Records

The past 12 months has been spectacular for 35 year-old Priya Ragu. We have witnessed a meteoric rise since her signing with Warner Records in October 2020.

The Tamil-Swiss artist makes uplifting R&B with her brother and music producer Japhna Gold. In quick succession she has released Good Love 2.0, Chicken Lemon Rice and most recently the Annie Mac (BBC Radio 1) supported Forget About.

She has also received some well deserved recognition. NME featured her as one of the top ‘100 essential emerging artists for 2021’, Vogue named her in their ‘6 musicians about to blow up in 2021 and her single Good Love 2.0 was on FIFA 21’s official soundtrack. Let’s not forget the support she has received from numerous South Asian platforms included the BBC Asian Network and Rolling Stone India.
