MIA signs with Roc Nation

Maya Arulpragasam aka MIA has signed a deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. The news was announced last night and featured on the company’s website. M.I.A Joins a team of superstars including Rihanna, Mark Ronson & Shakira, signed or managed by the label. We always knew Jay-Z had respect for the British Tamil femcee as he featured on two of her songs, Boyz & most recently XXXO! Rihanna sent her well wishes to M.I.A., tweeting, “welcome home MIA.” On Monday, the singer teased her fans when she posted pictures of the two of them hanging out backstage at a Jay-Z and Kanye West concert in London.
