A.R.Rahman works on Soundtrack to Disney’s Million Dollar Arm

Disney’s latest Hollywood production “Million Dollar Arm” will feature music composed by Grammy & Oscar winner A.R.Rahman, who has been putting the finishing touches to the highly anticipated soundtrack.

Have been busy finishing the soundtrack album of Million Dollar Arm. It features collaborations with Iggy, Kendrick Lamar (in the movie only), KT Tunstall , Sukhwinder Singh, Raghav Mathur.

And a surprise Tamil song from my 90s collection, during the end credits, featuring K S Chithra and Unnikrishnan… And of course, lots of underscore…

From humble beginning in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, AR Rahman is now a sought after name in music, juggling work in the different international film industries including Hollywood & Indian Cinema to his own ground breaking independent productions.

“Million Dollar Arm” is the story of JB Bernstein (Jon Hamm) who in a last ditch effort to save his career as a sports agent, concocts a scheme to find baseball’s next great pitching ace. Hoping to find a young cricket pitcher he can turn into a Major League Baseball star, JB travels to India to produce a realityshow competition called “Million Dollar Arm.” Here is the official trailer;
