Introducing Shweta Subram

Introducing a new star on the block! She goes by the name Shweta Subram and with her dusky looks and powerful voice, is set to take over the Desi scene very soon! Her mixed heritage stems from the South Indian states of Tamil Nadu on her father’s side & Karnataka on her mother’s. Born in Dubai, schooled in Ottawa, and now based in Toronto, she is trained by prominent gurus in Hindustani and Carnatic music styles of India.

Having performed across the world, featured in TV adverts in India, showcased in an Indian reality show and awarded the best North American Singer and qualified from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art is there anything more to say about this bundle of talent?!

Shweta Subram unleashes her first video  – ‘JEE LE  – LIVE LIFE’. The single is available to purchase on digital platforms from the 27th June 2011. The single has been produced by Canada’s finest Desi singer, producer, lyricist Parichay who has recently sung the Yamla Pagla Deewana (house mix) for the Deols’ smash hit movie, and his single Tum Habibi is still in the charts 25 weeks after its release.
