British Tamil singer Ashnaa Sasikaran announces intimate shows

Following the success of her debut sold out headline show in November 2024, British Tamil musician Ashnaa Sasikaran announces two new intimate shows in March 2025.
Ashnaa will deliver 2 special live performances accompanied by her live band, on Friday 21st and Friday 28th March at the TheatreShip – A unique 110-year-old restored cargo ship docked in Canary Wharf, London.
Ashnaa Unplugged will consist of original songs, unreleased tracks, and soulful covers – promising an unforgettable blend of R&B, Neo-Soul, Carnatic, Jazz, and storytelling.
For her multi-lingual set, predominantly in Tamil and English, Ashnaa is accompanied by a specially curated band of musicians featuring electric and classical guitar, violin, keys, drums and double bass.
On the back of her viral covers, working with acclaimed composers including D’Imman, and a string of original independent releases, Ashnaa has built a strong following on social media and offline.
Before announcing her show “Ashnaa Unplugged”, the Milton Keynes based singer honed her performance and stage presence with a series of intimate gigs with SofarSounds, and touring with various international productions.
Ashnaa was the lead singer in the award-winning opera Orpheus by Opera North, toured UK’s prestigious venues including the Jazz Cafe with “3rd Culture Collective, Kalender’s concert at DairaFest in Russia, and most recently in Paris for “Abducted” by prominent South Indian dancer Rukmuni Vijayakumar.
