Iconic British Tamil owned business Morley’s teams up with Heinz & the Standard Hotel

Morley’s, the iconic South London chicken institution founded in 1985 by Sri Lankan Tamil Kannalingam “Indran” Selvendran, has partnered with Heinz for an exciting month-long Pop-up at one of London’s most popular hotels, The Standard.

The limited edition Morley’s x Heinz Fried Chicken Sauce is only available at the Pop-Up, which features an exclusive bougie chicken menu based on Selvendran’s recipes, DJs and live entertainment.

Guests at the pop-up will be invited to indulge in a range of mouthwatering options, including Popcorn Chicken or cauliflower, served with a choice of Heinz Sweet Chilli or Smoky Chipotle sauces for a delightful combination of textures and tastes. As for deserts, the menu includes The Standard’s take on Morley’s’ hot apple pie, along with drinks such as a Frozen Mango Margarita with a spicy salt rim, boozy Coke Float, and Grape Soda with vodka, cinnamon and lime.

To date, Morley’s have 100 branches across the UK, the most recent opening in Brighton. The high street fried chicken brand has also been endorsed by several popular UK artists including Krept (Morley’s freestyle) and Stormzy (Big for your Boots). An amazing accomplishment for a family owned business, with Shan Selvendran at its helm.

This unique collaboration will run from August 7 to September 3. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.
