Popular London based Sri Lankan restaurant Rambutan, founded by British Tamil chef Cynthia Shanmugalingam, has announced an unmissable event for the Tamil New Year.
Teaming up with Indian Tamil chef Prince Durairaj (founder of Tamila, Tamil Prince & Tamil Crown), the one-off Tamil new year collaboration showcases a night of Diaspora Tamil cooking.
The award winning chefs, Cynthia & Prince, will be bringing together well-loved Tamil Nadu dishes with Sri Lankan ingredients – devilled chicken lollipop, and Jaffna mutton nalli roast with coconut roti and crushed coconut.
Taking over the bar are Bristol based Lost & Grounded – thakkali micheladas, goraka and lemongrass shandies and green herb lagers.
Rambutan is based in heart of Borough Market, a short walk from London Bridge station.
