Selvaraghavan’s engagement

The engagement of Director Selvaraghavan with Ms.Geetanjali was held today (Thursday 10th February) at the bridegroom Residence at 10.30 am. The date for the marriage has been fixed for the 3rd July 2011 in Chennai. Advocate Genral of Tamilnadu Mr.P.S.Raman & Mrs.Padmini Raman hosted their daughter’s engagement, with attendence by Director Selvaraghavan’s parents Mr.Kasthuri Raja & SMT.Vijayalaxmi Kasthuriraja. Guests including the Rajinikanth and family, Kamal Haasan and Gauthami, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, and Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Brother to popular Tamil actor Dhanush, Director Selvaraghavan has several successful films under his belt including Kaadhal Kondein (2003), 7G Rainbow Colony (2004), Pudhupettai (2006) & Aayirathil Oruvan (2010). He was earlier married to actress Sonia Agarwal, who starred in his two earlier movies. They filed for divorce after a two year marriage in 2009. His wife to be, Ms Geetanjali is his assistant director.
