Puthandu Vazthukal – NY 2011

Fresh off the success of the VTV audio launch at the end of 2009, 2010 was a year filled with a ton of stuff here at Thamarai. Not only did VTV do well both as a film and with the audio, but the DVD of the launch hosted by Thamarai was released in a Special Collector’s Edition! During this past year, we’ve had the lovely Ashanti Omkar chatting to hottie Arya, Abhishek Bachchan, Mani Ratnam and many more stars, whilst Nish Raj interviewed musicians such as Kazz Kumar and Parichay. On top of that, we gave you exclusive coverage of the Raavan premiere in London, the AR Rahman ‘Jai Ho’ concert and after-party, and several London university shows and in September, the talented Sasi The Don flew over from Malaysia for ‘Urban Koothu’. What a whopping year it’s been!

None of this would have been possible without the continued support of the Thamarai followers, supporters and well-wishers, so the Thamarai team would like to take this opportunity to thank you all.
