An epic on the legendary story of two warrior brothers set in medieval Tamil Nadu. The budget and scale of this production is unprecedented with elaborate battle sequences, costume designs and colossal sets. The movie is adapted from the 1978 book titled "Ponnar Sankar” by Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister Dr. Karunanidhi. Many have approached Dr.Karunanidhi to turn his story into a movie but only one person was trusted to do the job. The film is directed by Thiagarajan and stars his son Prashanth in lead dual roles as warrior princes. Miss India 2009 Pooja Chopra and Divya Parameshwaran make their debuts as princesses. The film also boast a star studded cast including Sathyaraj, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Sneha & Kushboo to name just a few. The movie is set for a 2011 release.
