Bharath does a cameo
Bharath has been trying all kinds of roles in his movies and most of them have been very successful. Now he will go for a new makeover as he will be playing a cameo in Director Vasanthabalan’s “Aravaan.”
The movie is a period film based on a few episodes from the celebrated novel “Kaval Koatham.” The film stars Aadhi (Eeram), Pasupathi (Veyil) and Dhansika (Manja Velu). Bharath has agreed to accept this small offer, as it was Director Vasanthabalan who gave Bharath his big break in “Veyil.”
Meanwhile the actor is awaiting his release of “Vaanam” opposite STR, and “Thiruthani.”
Mummy Rambha!
Rambha, who got married to Canadian entrepreneur Indiran last year, gave birth to a baby girl in Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Canada last weekend.
“Both the newborn and Rambha are doing fine. The child is a big Pongal gift for us. My joy knew no bounds,” said Indiran.
Rambha, who was one of Kollywood’s hottest actress had many blockbusters with many actors in all South Indian languages. She was also the brand ambassador for a product of Indiran’s company.
Prabhu’s Kannada hit
Many actors have started crossing borders in the film industry. We had people like Dr. Kamal Haasan, Sarath Kumar, Arya and Vadivelu acting in Malayalam movies as well as actor Srikanth playing significant roles in Telugu too.
With the on-going trend, another veteran actor has had his recent Kannada film release. Prabhu, son of late Sivaji Ganesan, and a talented actor in his own right stars in a film titled “Boss", which stars Darshan (who was also in the Kannada version of Pokkiri) in the lead.
Since the film was a hit, it seems our Prahbu is open to more offers in other languages. The actor has already acted in a few Malayalam films too.
Sultan to Hara to Rana?
What started as “Sultan the Warrior” was later changed to “Hara.” Now another title change has been done to Super Star’s animated film. Sources have it that the film maybe called “Rana.” But no official announcement has been made as of yet.
The film is in its final stages of shooting where the audience get to see the real Rajinikanth too. These scenes are being filmed by K.S.Ravikumar who gave the actor super duper hits. Music is scored by our Mozart of Madras A.R.Rahman.
