Disney enters South India

Esteemed company Walt Disney Pictures have taken their first steps into the South Indian film industry by being one of the co-producers of upcoming fantasy adventure film "Anaganaga O Dheerudu" – Once Upon A Warrior. The film stars Siddharth (Boys, Ayutha Ezhuthu) and Shruti Hassan – daughter of Tamil star "Ulaganayagan" Kamal Hassan. Prakash Rao makes his debut as a mainstream film director, and his father K. Raghavendra Rao is a co-producer under the banner of "A Bellyful of Dreams Entertainment". The fantasy action-adventure flick is slated for a January 2011 release, and is expected to be released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
