Tomorrow we see the release of Mani Ratnam’s "Kadal" starring Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair who make their debut in Kollywood. Interestingly, it was their father and mother respectively who starred together in the 1981 film "Alaigal Oivathilley" under Director Bharathiraja.
It only makes sense, then, that this week’s Throwback Thursday track is from that blockbuster film. We’ve chosen the song " Aayiram Thamarai", a beautiful composition sung by SPB and S. Janaki under the composition of Maestro Ilayarajah.
