Canadian-Tamil musician Rajeev – or, Tha Prophecy, as he is known – recently dropped his new video for the track “When I’m Gone“. Produced by Gowsigan a.k.a iMPRESS, and with lyrics by Tha Propehcy himself, we’re loving the summer vibes of the track!
The talented musician made waves in the Tamil film industry, as he featured on the soundtrack of Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s “Thuppakki”, and more recently Jayam Ravi’s latest film “Aadhi Bhagavan”. Presenter Thurka Gunaratnam caught up with him in Canada to find out more about his experience and his work:
Tha Prophecy also released a teaser for his next video “Faces”, which he revealed has been shot in Trinidad & Tobago, as has the video for “When I’m Gone”. The videos have been filmed by the talented Pras Lingam of Spectrum pictures, and both tracks are from Tha Prophecy’s album “Kush, Love and Memories”, which is available for free download by clicking here.
From the sounds of it, “Faces” has a very different sound, more along the lines of top rappers such as Drake. Check out the teaser below:
