AR Rahman’s Mariyaan Audio released

A week back we heard the full version of “Nenjae Ezhu” sung by AR Rahman for the Dhanush starrer Mariyaan. We were then hit with the unbelievable news that AR Rahman had fellow music producer Yuvan Shankar Raja sing for the album. Since then Tamil music fans have been eagerly awaiting its full release.

Today Mariyaan’s soundtrack composed by AR Rahman hit the shelves and has so far been receiving a tremendous response. Unfortunately the audio launch which was meant to take place today in Chennai was cancelled and instead replaced with a small gathering of the team.

The tracks include Nenjae Ezhu, Innum Konja Neram sung by Vijay & Shweta, I love My Africa featuring Zambian Tamil rapper Blaaze,  Sonapareea sung by Haricharan, Yenga Pona Raasa, Kadal Raasa Naan sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja & Naetru Aval Irundhal. Click here to have a listen.

The upcoming Kollywood film starrs Dhanush who this weekend won the "Best Actor Award" at the 7th Vijay Awards, Parvathi Menon & Salim Kumar in a story about a "Man who never dies." The thriller has been partially-inspired by the true story of Indian immigrants who were taken hostage in Sudan.
