Onam festival in London presented by South Indian vegetarian restaurant group Arya Bhavan

Arya Bhavan teamed up with Thamarai for their 2025 Onam celebrations in London. Onam is the annual harvest festival celebrated by the Malayali community across the globe.

For the first time in the UK, Onam was marked across various London locations by Arya Bhavan, which included their branches in Tooting (South London), Wembley (West London), Barkingside (East London) and Leicester / Trafalgar Square (Central London).

Spread across three days, from the 3rd to the 5th September, Arya Bhavan’s Onam celebrations included food, culture & music. A traditional Onam feast consisting of 22 vegetarian items was available as a Sadhya ( served on a banana leaf), or as a Thali. Guests were also treated to energetic & captivating live performances by Chenda Melam, Kerala’s traditional drummers, & a Kathakali dancer.
