Telugu film rakes in over a million US dollars!

Telugu film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC) has done remarkably well at the box office, not just in India but overseas as well; in the US, the film raked in over $1million in just three days, topping the earnings by highly-anticipated Hindi film "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola". The film stars Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Anjali and Samantha, and Prakash Raj is also in the film. The acclaimed actor is also a familiar face in the Tamil industry, and is currently gearing up for the release of "Gouravam", a film which has been simultaneously filmed in Telugu and Tamil. SVSC is a family entertainer, and it first Telugu multi-starrer in over two decades. The film has received high praise from critics, and has broken box office records for a Telugu film in the USA.
