Barfi! to be remade?

Hindi film "Barfi!" starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Southie star Ileana D’Cruz recently made headlines as it became India’s official entry for the Academy Awards in the "Best Foreign Film" category. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film follows a deaf-mute character (played by Ranbir) and his relationship with an autistic girl (Priyanka Chopra).

The film has received glowing reviews, and the latest buzz is that it may be remade in Tamil! Rumour has it that a top Southern star has shown interest in being involved in the remake of the movie, but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
