Musical duo Lady Kash and Krissy are back with a new track! The two girls left their homes in Singapore to move to India in 2009, where they pursued a Diploma in Recording Arts. During this time, they worked on a number of projects including AR Rahman’s Tamil anthem, and later for a track on the soundtrack of Superstar Rajinikanth’s film "Enthiran".
The duo are currently in London where they are working on some new projects. The city must be a real change to Singapore, but it seems the girls are loving it here: "We love everything about London, the people, the culture, the food, the creativity…everything! The change of environment has given us such a creative high. Thanks to that, we’ve been doing tons of songwriting and brainstorming."
So, what are the two up to whilst they’re in the UK? "We have plans here to work and collaborate with many producers. The goal is to make great music, take it to a whole other level and find our sound even better!"
One of the producers they’re working with is the London-based Charles Bosco, who produced esteemed singer Benny Dayal’s debut album.
"Desi Pennae", the latest track from Lady Kash and Krissy, is an upbeat number produced by Charles Bosco. We love the way the lyrics make references to the girls’ Enthiran track! Have a listen below:
