Tamil Professionals Network, Powaii, and Marutham are thrilled to come together to host a collaborative International Women’s Day event celebrating the achievements and successes of Tamil women across diverse career paths.
As Tamil professionals, we recognise the cultural burdens and societal pressures that have historically limited women’s career ambitions.
Just a generation ago, it was rare to see Tamil women celebrated for their professional success. However, times are changing, and women in our community are gaining the empowerment and independence to break barriers, redefine expectations, and thrive in their chosen fields .Building on the success of last year’s event—where attendees found a safe, supportive space to connect, share, and inspire one another—we are excited to continue this tradition, fostering a strong community for career growth and mentorship.
The event will begin with networking and small group discussions followed by an open discussion featuring a panel of aspiring speakers who will share insights on their success as well as the challenges they have faced along their journeys.
