SL2SG launched in Singapore

SL2SG, the highly anticipated collaboration album by singer / rapper Dinesh K and music producer Charles Bosco was launched in Singapore on the 20th May 2010. SL2SG stands for Sri Lanka 2 Singapore and the album comprises of 10 multi genre Tamil songs appealing to the international Tamil diaspora.

Dinesh & Charles both share a common Sri Lankan Tamil heritage, with Charles being raised in London and Dinesh in Colombo. Dinesh rose to fame with the hit gaana song ‘Aathichudi’ from the film ‘TN4777’. Charles Bosco is popularly known as the ‘Tamil Timbaland’ with continuous airplay of his songs on the BBC’s Asian Network. His recent hit ‘Breathe’ featuring British Tamil rapper ‘Loven’ was top of the BBC’s Friction chart for 3 weeks.

SL2SG features artists including Benny Dayal, Zakir Ali, Suvi Suresh, Ebi Shankara, Jackson Bosco, Kee and DJ Sathiya. Currently available in Singapore under Tantra records, it will be available in Chennai through Infinite Dreams and Sri Lanka through Under Stage Records.

The Europe release date is yet to be announced but there will be an exclusive album launch in London at the next ‘Urban Koothu’ event on Friday 25th June. For more details click here.
