World Tamil Organisation (WTO) UK and The Rise have united to organise the Tamil Entrepreneurs and Professional Economic Conference and the Grand Inauguration Ceremony of feTA Global (Federation of Tamils across the globe). The event will be a major initiative to foster innovation, build partnership and facilitate investment among the global Tamil business community.

The event scheduled on the 5th, 6th and 7th of May 2022 at the Fairfield Halls Conference Centre, London, will open new doors for The Rise in the UK. The 3-day event will mark the 10th-anniversary celebration of feTAUK and is sure to aid the goal of the state government of Tamil Nadu, in transforming the state into a one trillion $ economy by 2030. The conference will witness the presence of over 3000 plus attendees and 100 plus speakers from the UK, India, and 72 commonwealth nations. It will be a crucial platform for discussing various topics like sustainability in the global business paradigm and the need for uniting Tamil entrepreneurs and businesses from across the world.

The Organisers

World Tamil Organisation was born in 2005 with the aim of nurturing the economic interests and capabilities of the Tamil diaspora in the United Kingdom through high profile events and networking activities. As a registered charity under the United Kingdom Charity Commission, it connects Tamil communities from across the globe and builds stronger cultural and economic partnerships between Tamil Nadu, India and the rest of the world. It is also the co-founder of the UK Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce (UKTNCC) Federation of Tamils across the globe (feTAGlobal) and the UK Women’s Network (UKWNET)

The Rise is an international body of Tamil entrepreneurs, professionals and business enthusiasts determined to increase collaboration, co-creation and transformation in the global business landscape. Since 2018, it has been a premier forum for international economic collaboration, bringing together the brightest minds of the international business community. The 4th edition of the Rise: TEPEC 2022, would build upon the success of the prior three summits held in India and Malaysia. It will emphasise the need to bring together Tamil entrepreneurs, start-ups, business leaders and visionaries, encompassing themes like economic development, global partnerships, inclusive growth and a healthy investment climate.
