Happy Birthday Raghu Dixit!

The fabulous Raghu Dixit, front man of South Indian band “The Raghu Dixit Project” celebrated his birthday on November 11th this year, and also announced some amazing news that would have any musician over the moon. The incredible band, with their earthy, genuine Indian folk-rock music are set to come back to London, this time to perform on the esteemed BBC show “Later with Jools Holland”! The episode will be filmed on November 16th and aired on Friday 19th November, reaching over a million viewers.

The singer – who is of mixed Tamil and Kannada descent – said on Facebook earlier “This birthday has been the most fabulous one in terms of gifts received out of nowhere! I am thrilled and proud to announce that my band The Raghu Dixit Project has been invited to perform on BBC, London, for the biggest music show ‘Later with Jools Holland’”, and apart from that also dropped hints that a stint in Bollywood is imminent too!
