This weekend saw the fourth episode of The Voice UK, showcasing another group of gifted singers hoping for a turn from the coaches, and the opportunity to advance through to the Battles.
23-year-old Stefan Mahendra, a singer, songwriter and keyboard player from Bromley London is the latest Tamil talent to perform on the Voice UK.
On Saturday night his rendition of Childish Gambino’s Redbone turned the attention of Olly Murs and Jennifer Hudson. Blown away by Stefan’s performance Olly Murs offered him a support slot on his next tour in a bid to entice him onto his team.
The icing on the cake came when the coaches Olly Murs, Jennifer Hudson, will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones discovered the singer came with band, Brown Sugar. They asked them to perform as a group on stage! Check out their captivating rendition of Crazy by Gnarls Barkley.
