Vennira Iravuggal premieres to Malaysian media

Congratulations to the ‘Vennira Iravuggal’ team, who hosted a successful media premiere last night in Malaysia. The film has received a glowing response from the press who were in attendance.

Set to release to the Malaysian public on March 6th via selected cinemas nationwide, Vennira Iravuggal (English: White Nights) is not to be missed.

We at Thamarai were one of the lucky few to have watched the film before the directors final cut, last year whilst the team were in Europe for the Norway Tamil film festival.

Even at that point we released that this film is about to raise the bar on previously released independent Tamil productions. The Malaysian Tamil Romantic comedy stars Magen aka Vikadakavi in the lead role with Sangeeta Krishnasamy.

Written, directed and produced by R.Perakas Rajaram, the film has has been set in various locations in Malaysia, Singapore & Mynamar, a first for a Tamil production. The film has also given a small glimpse into the lives of Myanmar’s little known Tamil community.

We don’t want to give too much away, but congratulations to the team for presenting a beautifully entertaining film with an original script, great screenplay, stunning locations and for casting an captivating group of independent talent whom share great chemistry on screen.
