We’ve seen a lot of Simbu lately, not as an actor but as a singer; he recently sang for "Love Endravan" from his upcoming film "Vaalu", and also for the catchy "Oru Porambokku" for the film "Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga".
Now, he’s back as a singer again, this time for Madhura Sreedhar’s upcoming Telugu film "Backbench Student". The film stars Mahat Raghavendra in the lead, with Piaa Bajpai – who has starred in a number of Tamil films including "Goa" and "Ko" – and Archana Kavi alongside.
Music has been scored by Sunil Kashyap, and the audio launch took place in Hyderabad on Saturday. Actor Simbu has lent his vocals for a remix of "Jagada Jagada" from Mani Ratnam’s 1989 National Award-winning Telugu film "Geethanjali", which was dubbed in Tamil as "Idayathai Thirudathey".
