SOAS Tamil Society presents its annual Thai Pongal celebrations – but this time, BBC2 is recording it for a Sri Lankan episode for a new food series!
This Thai Pongal celebration will take place on Sunday the 28th of January outside of the university (in front of the statue of Thiruvalluvar)
There will be traditional live music, as well as free pongal and other sweet and savoury dishes.
BBC2 will be recording so please make sure you are comfortable in front of a camera, and if you aren’t just alert one of the crew members!
